CyrusArt — Doug Cariou
The name CyrusArt was given prophetically — and Doug Cariou has carried it with faithfulness ever since. Based in the Fraser Valley and at home wherever the great outdoors leads him, Doug is a prophetic Christian artist whose life and work have been shaped by decades of walking closely with God.
Over the years the Lord has commissioned Doug to create works that go far beyond decoration. His Cry for Africa project, his Murals of Healing, and his reconciliation work on behalf of Japanese Canadians are testaments to an artist answering a divine call. From city walls and schools to churches and businesses, his murals have marked communities across North America with beauty, truth, and the grace of God.
Doug is not only a muralist — he paints, sings, and loves to share his faith through word and action as the Lord leads. He carries a prophetic sensitivity, and is often invited to share what the Spirit of the Lord touches in him with each individual he meets. Every gift in his life flows from the same Source.
