For this reason, when working on major projects, Doug will often set aside a portion of the proceeds to be donated to charitable causes — organizations and initiatives that are making a real and lasting difference in people's lives. It is his way of ensuring that the work of his hands reaches further than the walls it adorns, and that every commission becomes, in some small way, a gift to the broader community.
