For over four decades, Liberty World Ministries has witnessed God's transforming power in lives across the globe. From remote mountain villages in the Philippines to orphanages in Africa, from Bible college students to seasoned ministers, these testimonies reflect the faithfulness of God and the vision He gave to Dr. Duane F. Steeves in 1978.

My Salvation Story:
As a small boy, my parents always brought me to the church services on Sunday. We were attending the Jesus People church in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1974. On that particular Sunday, my Sunday School teacher used a flannel graph to explain that all of us were sinners and that Jesus had died on the cross because of our sins. He died to save us, and we must pray to accept Jesus. This I did while my Sunday school teacher held me on her knee and had me repeat her words. I meant it from my heart and have been saved since that very day.
The Call to Missions:
During the years 1987-1991, I was working as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. I was attending a Pentecostal church in Anchorage, Alaska. In 1990, Dr. Duane F. Steeves came to our church to preach. He was sharing about his ministry in the Philippines. I was moved by the Holy Spirit to go with him on a mission trip to the Philippines. I had never been on a mission trip before, but I knew I had to go. I talked to Dr. Steeves after the service and he said I could join him.
Witnessing God's Power:
We flew to Manila, then to Baguio City in northern Luzon. There had been a major earthquake in Baguio City, and many buildings were damaged or destroyed. We stayed in a hotel that had been damaged, but was still standing. From there, we went to remote mountain villages to preach the gospel.
In one village, we preached in a small church. During the service, a blind boy was healed. It was a miracle! We saw many people come to Christ during that trip. Dr. Steeves was instrumental in planting churches and training leaders.
"Dr. Steeves is a man that has hazarded his life for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 15:26). He has endured hardship, fiery trials, and tribulations to fulfill the ministry he received in the Lord."
A Partnership in Ministry:
More than thirty years ago, Dr. Duane Steeves was instrumental in my going to the Philippines for the first time, to preach the gospel in remote mountain villages. Dr. Steeves has not only taught and prepared others to go into the harvest fields, but the Lord has used Dr. Steeves in actually leading others into the harvest fields.
Mountain Village Ministry:
In 1990, Dr. Steeves invited me to minister with him in a remote mountain village in the northern Philippines. We preached the gospel, and many people came to Christ. We saw miracles and healings that could only be attributed to the power of God working through faithful servants.
A Vision for End Times:
According to Daniel's prophecy, end time believers will be purged and made white; they will instruct many; the people who know their God will be strong and do exploits. With the love of the risen Christ in us, and to the glory of God, let us go forward and do exploits in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
