“Our love for Jesus makes us desire to please him… but we cannot in our flesh; This being our struggle, our inability. Our flesh argues with us (since birth) and tempts us to comfort.”
“Christianity is more than a 'new start;' it's a new nature.”
“When our life touches another person, then that persons life touches yet another, and that one yet another, and so on; and so many lives are touched by that one person, by that one act of love, but my love, it is all one life, ours.”
“Taking the courage to defend, those who cannot defend themselves. What God desires from us is found here, in the heart, and what we do everyday dictates whether we are good persons, and in Christ or not. Our souls are in our keeping alone, and on that day when we stand before God, we will not be able to say, “Others told me to do this, or that virtue was not convenient at the time.” This will not be sufficient. The kingdom of God must be a kingdom of conscience, or it is no kingdom at all.”
“It may be more blessed to give than to receive, but it is often harder to receive than to give.”
“With God, the test comes first, then the lessons.”
“True Christians recognize and understand that God is using everything that occurs in their lives for their good (Romans 8:28). Nothing happens outside the providence of Him. Therefore, if that which appears to be evil closes in upon us, if we are threatened with the loss of material possessions, the loss of freedom by being cast into jail, or even the loss of life, we can still praise the Lord and worship Him as King of kings and Lord of lords. The prophet Habakkuk said it well: “Though the fig tree should not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food, though the flock should be cut off from the fold and there be no cattle in the stalls, yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation” (Habakkuk 3:17-18).”
“It was my loging for goodness in my life that brought me to seeking Jesus. Ro 2:4 Paul says that "it is goodness of God that leads us to repentance." no supposed repentance is on sure ground unless it begins with a quickened apprehension of that goodness that alone disarms pride and melts the heart. It is the 'pre-revelation' of that goodness that enables true repentance and faith”
“God’s glories can be seen by children, but we adults need to be touched by God to see the truth.”

“Authority Lies Within Us Jesus has already given us the authority to fight all principalities, powers and rulers of darkness and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loosen on earth will be loosened in heaven (Matthew 16:19). Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, to forgive sins and to cure diseases (Luke 9:1 & John 20:23) Very few of us walk in this God-given authority. Our inability to see and perform miracles lies within us, but sometimes we don’t see ourselves the way God and the devil see us. The devil shudders at those who know who they are in Christ and take up that position. This is the reason why we don’t see miracles happen in our lives. If we believe rightly (according to the Word of God) then we will live and function rightly. We are mostly scared, often fearful and always orphaned in our thoughts. We are waiting for God to move, when it’s the other way round. God and all of heaven is waiting for the sons of God to be revealed, for us to show forth ourselves as real men and women of God and act like the royalty God made us out to be. We have to shake off self-pity (feeling sorry for ourselves and our situations), and get on with the confidence that if God is for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)? All of heaven empowers us when we act like sons of royalty, which is who we really are! Then there is nothing stopping us from seeing prayers answered in a jiffy and soaring over every circumstance. Prayer : Lord, this day, help us see, believe, act and behave like sons of royalty we are. to see ourselves walk as You did on earth. Let us not wait any longer for You to move, but help us to move ourselves toward where You want us to go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
“THE TRUTH THAT SETS YOU FREE? John 7:16 & 17 Joh 7:16 Jesus answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone desires to do His will, *HE SHALL KNOW* of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or I speak from Myself." The pathway to knowledge, according to Jesus is obedience, not education. We do not go wrong through ignorance but through willfulness" If you want to prove whether what I say is true and from God, there is a very simple way. If you are willing to do what God wants, you will soon find out whether I'm telling you the truth. It means quite simply, that unless I am willing to do what God wants me to do, I have no proof that this is true. There is no other way of testing it See less”
“Better for me if I’m with the Lord, better for you if I am here. why would I fear? the Lord has ordain my days; From before creation He knows the end from the beginning, so why should I have fear? Hebrew declares “we take captive by fear of death.” James declares there is no fear in Perfect love. I say to you all, do not de concern for my well-being, but pray for me: always for strength in the inner struggle with our bodily disabilities that we might be living in Holy Sacrifice. That through this sacrifice, many souls may come into the kingdom of God in truth and in the light of Christ. To live in tabernacle of David. The Lord’s last words speak volumes. They reveal priorities and hopes. Before Jesus ascended back into Heaven, He gave His disciples this daunting command, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19–20).”
“Love of the World… 1John 2:15 “Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” I find it very hard to live in Canada as a Christian. According to the Holy Spirit’s words above, Canada is a country and people who love the world and the things of this world. That is why the attraction, why people come to Canada to live, we love the world and the things of it. I have searched this world for riches and I found the treasure I was looking for… and it is not of this world. “Has a nation changed their gods who are yet no gods? But My people have changed their Glory for that which does not profit. Be amazed, O heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid; be completely desolated, says the LORD. For My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me, the Fountain of living waters, to hew out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water.” Jeremiah 2:11-13”
“The purpose of the sword was to reveal that which was hidden deep within so that the motives and intentions of people would be exposed. Thus, what may look like love, compassion, or goodness on the outside may be generated by ulterior motives. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. (KJV) Hebrews 4:12”

“I wear my heart on my sleeve and those who know me, know I cannot feign happiness when I'm swallowed with sadness”

“Social Gospel – Power to change… the reason for changing is to be a better person is totally wrong – it is self-focused. There are only two consciences – Self or God. We are to be in Christ image… While Christians are to be loving and generous to all people, they are never told to attempt to remedy the consequences of the sin of unbelieving humanity through social action.”

“No problems but that of the state of the church here. It is dismembered and broke as it is that I found it in Argentina. God is deeply grieved and any spirit filled Christian will be grieving with Him. If I were in difficulties, my interpretation of this, is as we walk through our painful experiences, we should not ask or seek to deliver ourselves out of painful circumstances, but rather, wait on God for His instruction of what we are to do, even if His answer is, "Hang on to this cross until you are dead." - brother Lawerence”
